Gatewood Ghost Tour
We’re really excited to tell you all about a brand new fundraising effort for our neighborhood! As you know, member dues and Home Tour profits help keep those dastardly historic lights fixed, medians mowed and neighborhood bills paid for…but we always need more to do more!
This year we are experimenting with a new project – a Gatewood Ghost Walk. We’ll be leveraging the insanely popular Halloween season by creating a 45 minute walking tour of the neighborhood. Our volunteer guide will entertain 10-12 visitors by talking about the history of the neighborhood…and of course interweaving ghostly tales into the mix.
So, if you see a group of people slowly wandering through the neighborhood, don’t be alarmed! It’s just the first ever Gatewood Ghost Walk!
But that’s not all! We’d love to hear from you about any Ghostly tales you may have about your home. If you’d like to be involved let us know, too – this should be a really entertaining way to help raise money for our neighborhood.
If you’re interested in taking the tour yourself, we’d love that too!
